The report on a terrorism-free Turkey was accepted by the committee. In the commission, the DEM Party shared a written message from the leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Öcalan. Öcalan, who wants the definition of citizenship in Turkey to change, stated in his message, "I prefer to say free citizen. It can also be called constitutional citizenship, but free citizenship is broader than that. One will be free in their religion, free in their nationality, free in their thoughts. Does the definition of citizenship in Turkey meet this? It is somewhat ambiguous," he expressed.

ZORLU: THE FIRST 4 ARTICLES OF OUR CONSTITUTION ARE NOT OPEN TO DISCUSSION
AK Party Deputy Chairman Kürşad Zorlu emphasized in the commission that the first 4 articles of our constitution and other red lines in this context are not open to discussion. Zorlu stated:
"This report cannot mean a special arrangement for any individual. The Republic of Turkey conducts its fight against terrorism with determination in the field, and it will do so with the same determination on legal grounds. The fundamental characteristics of the Republic of Turkey cannot be subjected to questioning.
Our constitutional order, the first 4 articles of our constitution, and other red lines in this context are not open to discussion; they cannot be a subject of negotiation."
