As part of a drug investigation targeting famous individuals in Istanbul, actress Ahsen Eroğlu, who was subject to an arrest warrant, was released under judicial control with a "travel ban" condition after giving her statement at the prosecutor's office.
A new development has occurred in the drug investigation conducted by the Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office targeting celebrities.
AHSEN EROĞLU RELEASED
As part of the investigation, actress Ahsen Eroğlu, who could not be questioned due to being out of the city and had an arrest warrant against her, arrived in Istanbul today. After giving her statement at the prosecutor's office, Eroğlu was released under judicial control conditions in the form of a "travel ban abroad."
WHAT HAPPENED?
In a statement made by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that in the investigation conducted in coordination with the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Narcotics Crimes Combat Branch against well-known individuals, an arrest warrant was issued for 14 suspects who were deemed to have participated in the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use, or using drugs or stimulants," and "supplying drugs or stimulants."
In the simultaneous operation aimed at capturing the suspects, it was reported that 11 suspects were detained, while 2 suspects were being sought as fugitives, and it was determined that 1 suspect was abroad.
It was learned that the detained suspects were Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Emir Can İğrek, Serra Pirinç, Ogün Alibaş, Utku Ünsal, Elif Büşra Pekin, Burak Deniz, Mert Demir, Emre Öztürk (Fel), Ender Eroğlu, and Enes Güler. It was noted that efforts to capture Somer Sivrioğlu, Sinem Özenç Ünsal, and Ahsen Eroğlu, who had arrest warrants against them, were ongoing.
After their procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspects were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution to have their blood samples taken. Among the suspects whose samples were taken, Emir Can İğrek, Ogün Alibaş, Elif Büşra Pekin, Burak Deniz, and Enes Güler were referred to the courthouse. The suspects Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Serra Pirinç, Utku Ünsal, Mert Demir, Emre Öztürk, and Ender Eroğlu were released after their samples were taken.
The suspects taken to the Anadolu Courthouse, Emir Can İğrek, Ogün Alibaş, Elif Büşra Pekin, Burak Deniz, and Enes Güler were sent to the peace criminal court with a request for judicial control after their statements at the prosecutor's office. The court ruled that the 5 suspects be released under judicial control measures in the form of a "travel ban abroad."
