Documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation reveal that an anonymous user on the online forum '4chan' announced Epstein's death approximately 30 minutes before the official statement. Discussions surrounding Epstein's death have reignited due to the timing of this post on 4chan.
A detail that stands out in the documents released by the U.S. Department of Justice regarding the Jeffrey Epstein investigation has been noted. The documents reveal that an anonymous user on the online forum "4chan" announced Epstein's death approximately 30 minutes before the official statement.
"DON'T ASK ME HOW I KNOW"
According to a 2019 news article referenced in the documents, the user stated in their post, "Don't ask me how I know, but Epstein died an hour ago from hanging himself and his heart stopping."
This post, made shortly before the announcement of Epstein's death to the public, was also included in the investigation file.
COURT SUBPOENA FOR IP ADDRESS
The documents indicate that four days after the post was published, the Department of Justice sent a court subpoena to 4chan requesting information regarding the user's IP address.
It was reported that the management of 4chan requested information from the telecommunications company AT&T to identify the user who made four posts on the forum. However, due to the company's failure to keep long-term records of dynamic wireless IP addresses, the necessary data could not be provided.
Another document prepared by the Department of Justice included the following statements:
"The government has submitted all records obtained related to the 4chan post. Since the person who made the post used a dynamic IP, the author of the post is not disclosed in the obtained records."
OTHER SUSPICIOUS POSTS
A report included in the documents, showing four days after Epstein's death, also sparked discussions on social media. The report revealed that an anonymous person made detailed claims regarding the night of August 10, 2019.
The post alleged that Epstein was handcuffed and taken to the infirmary after the night count, a van entered the prison, and undocumented developments occurred. It was suggested that these statements directly matched a comment made by a prison officer named "Roberto Grijalva" on 4chan.
The August 2019 document also included information that Grijalva was on duty at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, one day before Epstein's death.
DEBATES BACK ON THE AGENDA
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, and the cause of death was officially declared as suicide. However, doubts and conspiracy theories regarding his death remained in the public eye for a long time.
With the new documents released by the Department of Justice, especially the timing of the post on 4chan has reignited discussions related to Epstein's death.
