Three people were killed and two others were injured in drone strikes carried out by the Israeli army in Lebanon. The attacks continue despite the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli army reported that 3 people lost their lives and 2 were injured in attacks carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in Lebanon.
ISRAEL ATTACKS TWO LOCATIONS IN LEBANON
Israel continues to instill terror in the Middle East. According to the Lebanese official agency NNA, a vehicle at the entrance of the town of Nakura in the southern Sur province was targeted by an Israeli UAV. One person was killed in the attack.
A vehicle in the town of Nabi Sheet, near the eastern city of Baalbek, was also struck by an Israeli UAV. One person lost their life in this attack. In the evening hours, an UAV attack on the village of Ust Hafir, near Baalbek, resulted in 1 death and 2 injuries.
HEAVY TOLL
Meanwhile, in the town of Aytarun in the southern province of Nabatiye, one person was injured due to the explosion of a war relic.
The Israeli army has been conducting UAV attacks on vehicles and motorcycles in some towns in southern Lebanon in recent days, despite a ceasefire agreement. Two people had lost their lives in UAV attacks carried out by Israel yesterday morning and at night.
ATTACKS CONTINUE DESPITE CEASEFIRE
Israel launched an attack on Lebanon in October 2023, which escalated into a large-scale war in September 2024. More than 4,000 people lost their lives in the war, and approximately 17,000 were injured.
Despite a ceasefire agreement reached between Hezbollah and Israel in November 2024, it was reported that Israel violated the ceasefire more than 4,500 times, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of civilians.
Israel also continues to occupy 5 hills it captured in the last war in Lebanon, while maintaining its presence in some areas it has held for decades.
