An attack was carried out on the Port of Salalah in Oman. It was reported that the oil storage facilities at the port were targeted in the attack.
The strategic Salalah Port, located in the south of Oman, was targeted in drone (UAV) attacks today.
OIL STORAGE TANKS HIT AT THE PORT
In a statement regarding the attack, it was noted that the attack directly targeted the oil storage tanks in the port area and that fires broke out in the tanks that were hit.
After the incident, all operations at the port were halted for security reasons, and thick smoke was seen rising from the area. Authorities reported that there was extensive material damage to the facilities in the attack.
