According to the information shared by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, operations were conducted against organized crime groups in Adana, Samsun, Siirt, Kocaeli, Ankara, Izmir, Tekirdağ, and Aydın, coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Intelligence and Organized Crime Units. As a result of the operations, 42 suspects who are members of crime groups with leaders abroad were captured.
CRIMINAL RECORDS ARE EXTENSIVE
It has been determined that the captured suspects, who are members of organized crime groups, committed crimes such as intentional murder, intentional injury, threats, robbery, and shooting at workplaces for robbery purposes while masked and using stolen vehicles or motorcycles.
