BREAK IN EDUCATION IN ISTANBUL
Istanbul Governor Davut Gül announced the decision they made regarding the increasing snowfall in the city through his social media account. Gül stated, "The snowfall that continues to affect Istanbul is negatively impacting life due to the cold weather as well."
Announcing that education has been suspended for one day, Gül said, "According to meteorological data, snowfall and cold weather are expected to continue to affect the city. Therefore, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, education will be suspended for one day in all educational institutions across Istanbul. Additionally, disabled employees, those with chronic illnesses, and pregnant staff in public institutions will also be considered on administrative leave on Wednesday, February 12, 2025," he added.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY IN 2 DISTRICTS OF KAHRAMANMARAŞ
Due to heavy snowfall, adverse weather conditions, and possible disruptions in transportation, education has been suspended on Wednesday, February 12, by the decision of the District Hygiene Board in the Nurhak and Göksun districts of Kahramanmaraş.
It was reported that there will be no transportation education in Elbistan tomorrow, and education has been suspended in 19 neighborhoods in the central Dulkadiroğlu and Onikişubat districts.

In a written statement from the Provincial Directorate of National Education, it was reported that due to heavy snowfall, adverse weather conditions, and possible disruptions in transportation, education has been suspended in some transportation schools in the Alaçam, Asarcık, and Ladik districts on Wednesday, February 12.

In statements made by the governorships of Çorlu, Çerkezköy, and Kapaklı in Tekirdağ, it was reported that education has been suspended for one day in all schools in the districts due to the expected snowfall tomorrow.
