LEFT THE CAMPING AREA AFTER A DISPUTE
According to the information obtained, it was learned that Elif Kumal left the camping area in her own vehicle late at night after a dispute with her boyfriend during the camping trip. However, no further news has been received from Kumal since her departure.
NO TRACE ON SECURITY CAMERAS
In the security camera examinations conducted in the vicinity, it was stated that there was no footage of the vehicle used by Elif Kumal entering either the direction of Erdek or Bandırma. Following this situation, the teams expanded their search efforts.
SEARCH INITIATED WITH DRONES AND DOGS
It was reported that the gendarmerie, AFAD, and the 911 Search and Rescue Association teams are conducting extensive operations in the area. Drones and specially trained dogs are being used in the searches, and off-road groups familiar with the region are also supporting the efforts. It was noted that the area around Yukarıyapıcı Pond and the forested areas are being thoroughly searched, and so far, no trace of Elif Kumal or her vehicle has been found.

Authorities have urged citizens who have seen Elif Kumal, come across her vehicle, or have any information regarding the matter to contact the security forces without delay.
