In the operation in Yalova, 3 police officers were martyred and 8 police officers along with 1 security guard were injured as a result of gunfire opened by ISIS terrorists. Justice Minister Tunç, who made a statement on the matter, said, "Within the scope of the investigation initiated by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 5 public prosecutors have been assigned and 5 suspects have been detained."
Interior Minister Yerlikaya reported that 3 of our police officers were martyred as a result of gunfire opened by ISIS terrorists during the operation in Yalova, and that 8 police officers and 1 guard were injured. As part of the investigation launched regarding the incident, 5 suspects were detained.
In Yalova, security teams conducted an operation against the terrorist organization ISIS at a house on the road to Elmalık village, which is affiliated with the center. During the operation, our police officers were fired upon by ISIS terrorists. As a result of the attack, 3 of our police officers were martyred. In the attack, 8 of our police officers and 1 guard were also injured.
5 WOMEN AND 6 CHILDREN AT THE ADDRESS WERE EVACUATED SAFELY
Due to the presence of women and children in the house where the terrorists were located, the operation was carried out with great sensitivity. 5 women and 6 children present at the address were evacuated safely. In the ensuing conflict, 6 terrorists were captured dead.

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç also made a statement regarding the operation. In his statement, Minister Tunç expressed the following:
"I pray for God's mercy on our heroic police officers who were martyred during the operation against the members of the ISIS terrorist organization in our province of Yalova, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured police officers. In relation to this deeply saddening incident, 5 public prosecutors have been assigned by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, and 5 suspects have been detained. The investigation is being conducted in a multifaceted and diligent manner. May the souls of our esteemed martyrs be at peace, and may the families of the bereaved and our esteemed nation be consoled."
