Erdoğan's one-word response to the question "What do you say to Bahçeli's call to 'have talks with İmralı'?"

President Erdoğan made evaluations regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Erdoğan responded more clearly than ever to Bahçeli's call for 'Imralı'.

ERDOĞAN'S STATEMENT ON 'ÖCALAN'

Erdoğan, who said, "We act in harmony and coordination with Mr. Bahçeli on every issue," stated that Bahçeli's call for 'Abdullah Öcalan' reflects the common political vision of the People's Alliance.

"A BOLD AND GAME-CHANGING PROPOSAL"

Erdoğan stated, "Mr. Bahçeli has indeed put forward a bold and game-changing proposal. As the president, we are addressing this issue meticulously and calmly, considering all its political, social, and regional implications," he said.

"WHEN YOU BURY THE WEAPONS, YOUR PATH WILL OPEN"

Erdoğan remarked, "The current picture does not allow us to be very hopeful. In the past, I said you will bury the weapons; the moment you bury the weapons, your path will open. If you do not bury the weapons, the hand of this state will also be on your shoulder. Our fight against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated," he stated.

JOURNALIST ASKED ABOUT BAHÇELİ'S CALL

At the end of the group meeting, Erdoğan was asked, "What do you think about Bahçeli's call for 'Imralı-DEM Party to meet'?" Erdoğan responded to this question with "They are meeting."
