In the Baglar district of Diyarbakir, the lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin, who went missing, was found in a sack on the 19th day of her disappearance. Narin, who mourned Turkey with her death, was laid to rest yesterday. The placement of a wedding dress on Narin's coffin sparked reactions. "I FIND IT HORRIBLE TO IMAGINE THAT LITTLE CHILD AS A BRIDE"One person who could not remain silent about Narin's tragic loss was Ezgi Mola, who recently gave birth to her first child. Speaking to 2. Sayfa after leaving a venue, Mola said, "May God curse those who are responsible for this, those who turn a blind eye, and those who are involved. Moreover, instead of that veil on the coffin, they should have put a toy apron. I also find it horrible to imagine that little child as a bride. I hope our country becomes a place where justice prevails," expressing her outrage. Mola's words quickly spread on social media, and thousands of supportive comments were received. WHAT HAPPENED TO NARIN?Narin Guran, who went to a Quran course in Tavsantepe neighborhood of Baglar district on August 21, did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When no results were obtained from the search, Narin's father, Arif Guran, reported that his daughter was missing around 20:00 on the same day. As a result, numerous search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area, and searches were conducted in houses in the neighborhood and vehicles entering the village. While the search efforts were ongoing, Narin Guran's brother E.G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. Since it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin in the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, E.G. was released. Then Narin's uncle, who is also the muhtar (village head) of the rural Tavsantepe neighborhood, Salim Guran, was detained. Salim Guran, whose DNA samples taken from his vehicle matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional killing" and "deprivation of liberty." The teams, who focused on previously searched areas again, conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and found Narin's lifeless body on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was killed and thrown into the stream in a sack, and her body was covered with stones.
