Yılmaz Özeren, the experienced midfielder of Altınordu, one of the teams in the TFF 2nd League White Group, who joined the squad from Bucaspor 1928 in December, reunited with his son Emir, who plays in the Altınordu youth academy, under the same club roof. Emir Özeren, who plays for the Altınordu U13 team, is proud to represent the Altınordu emblem alongside his father. Yılmaz, who stated that his son has been training in the Altınordu youth academy for about four and a half years, said, "I want to be an example for both my son and all the young players raised under the Altınordu roof. I try to be a role model not only on the field but also with my stance, my hard work, and my discipline. Wearing the jersey alongside my son under this roof is an indescribable pride for me."
"I KNOW I HAVE TO WORK HARD"
Recalling that he has a 20-year professional football background, Yılmaz Özeren expressed that his son's watching him from the stands increases his motivation. Emir, who stated that wearing the same club jersey as his father is a great source of motivation for him, said: "It is an honor for me that my father plays in the A team. I also want to play in a way that suits him. My first dream is to wear the Altınordu jersey when I become a professional football player. Because I grew up here, my childhood was spent here. You can't get anywhere in football without working hard. My father always tells me this. I know I have to work hard."
