"I HAVE TWO GOALS"
Turkish National Men's Basketball Team Head Coach Ergin Ataman revealed his two main goals in his career, stating, "I have two goals. The first is to continue winning the EuroLeague. I have won the trophy three times in the last five years. My other goal is to play in the World Cup with the Turkish national team and compete in the Los Angeles Olympics. I really want to participate in 2028, but it's not easy," he said.

Speaking about whether he has received any offers from the NBA, Ataman said, "To be honest, I haven't had any meetings with any NBA team so far, and I haven't received any serious offers. I'm not someone who would embellish myself by saying 'an NBA team is looking at me' professionally."

Stating that being the coach of the Turkish National Men's Basketball Team is very important to him, Ataman said, "Being with the national team and being one of the people who contribute to my country is very valuable to me. Throughout my career, I spoke English in the locker rooms of all teams. But in the national team, there are only your players, Turkish players. Being able to speak everything in Turkish gives a different energy. I really love this."
