Minister Uraloğlu announced on his social media account that Pegasus has removed its Iran flights from the schedule until March 12, while THY has done so until March 20.

RISKS IN AIRSPACE CONTINUE

Uraloğlu stated that developments in the Middle East are being closely monitored, and noted that NOTAMs indicating that airspaces in Iran, Israel, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Syria (except Aleppo) remain closed are still in effect.

Uraloğlu reported that partial civil flights continue in Oman, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, while air transport in the United Arab Emirates is ongoing in a controlled and limited manner.

SOME CARGO FLIGHTS ALSO CANCELED

It was reported that flights planned to Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Dammam have also been canceled until the end of March 13 due to security risks.

THERE ARE AIRCRAFT WAITING IN THE REGION

Minister Uraloğlu also announced that two aircraft belonging to Turkish Airlines and Pegasus are waiting at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport. He mentioned that an aircraft leased by Tailwind Airlines to an Iraq-based company is also located in Iraq, and stated that relevant units continue to work in a coordinated manner in line with developments.
