In Brazil, social media influencer Juliana Oliveira's aesthetic dream turned into a nightmare. The young woman experienced severe deformity after being injected with mineral oil and laxatives instead of real fillers at an underground clinic. Despite the trauma she endured, the woman did not give up on aesthetics and later underwent breast implants as well.
Social media phenomenon Juliana Oliveira, who lives in Brazil, wanted to have fillers done on her face in 2017 to look more feminine. However, the procedure performed at the underground clinic she chose turned her life upside down.
MINERAL OIL AND LAXATIVE INJECTED INTO HER FACE
According to allegations, clinic staff injected 21 syringes of mineral oil and laxative into Oliveira's cheeks instead of real filler material. After the procedure, the young woman's face experienced severe swelling and permanent deformation. Oliveira's cheeks and eyelids swelled, and this condition did not improve for years.
DESPITE ALL THE RISKS, SHE DID NOT GIVE UP ON COSMETIC SURGERY
According to a report in The Sun; despite the trauma she experienced, Oliveira did not shy away from cosmetic procedures and later underwent breast implant surgery. According to reports in the Brazilian press, the phenomenon, who is now 32 years old, continued her aesthetic journey.
Transsexual Oliveira had previously explained that the reason she had fillers done in 2017 was her desire to look 'more beautiful and feminine.'
FIRST INTERVENTION WITH A 4-HOUR SURGERY
Oliveira agreed with Dr. Thiago Marra to remove the harmful substances from her face. The young woman recently announced that a portion of the mineral oil in her face was removed during an operation that lasted about four hours.
“WE CANNOT REMOVE IT ALL AT ONCE”
Dr. Thiago Marra, who performed the operation, stated that the process is risky, saying, “We plan to completely empty the insides of the cheeks, but we cannot remove all of it at once due to possible complications.”
