28-year-old Yasemin H., who lives in Istanbul, was allegedly taken to Belgrad Forest and beaten for hours by her married lover Nasrullah T. and his friend. "HE BEAT ME IN THE FOREST, RECORDED IT"

The incident occurred on June 25. In her statement, Yasemin H. explained that she was forcibly made to get into a vehicle and taken to a wooded area, where she was beaten with fists and a stick. The young woman said, "He took photos from my phone, recorded me. He threatened, 'I will bury you in the forest, I will kill your brother's baby, I will harm your family.'

ALLEGATION OF "HE ASKED ME FOR MONEY"

According to a report by Sabah newspaper, Nasrullah T. tried to prove that he ended his relationship by sending the said footage to his wife. Yasemin H. also claimed that her lover Nasrullah T. demanded money from her based on private footage. NASRULLAH T.: HE IS SLANDERING

Denying the allegations, Nasrullah T. stated in his testimony, "Yasemin is slandering me. She is emotionally abusing me by using her psychological problems as an excuse. She sent me a message saying, 'I will send your videos to your wife, I will share them on the internet.' We had an argument, but I did not beat her."

REPORT ON THE ASSAULT AND INVESTIGATION

The assault report taken at the hospital revealed bruises on Yasemin H.'s face and arms. Nasrullah T. claimed that the marks were the result of "a previous fight." The suspect was arrested and sent to prison after his statement. The prosecutor's office requested an examination from the Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the timing of the assault marks. A mutual investigation is ongoing regarding both the allegations of violence and blackmail related to the incident.
