In the opening ceremony of the completed facilities and projects in Rize, President Erdoğan made striking evaluations regarding the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
"THANK GOD THEY ARE PROSTRATING IN GRATITUDE..."
Stating that "we stand tall against the oppressors without bending or breaking," Erdoğan said, "Yesterday, we received news from Egypt that delighted all people of conscience. An agreement was reached between Hamas and Israel. For the first time in two years, smiles returned to Gaza. People poured into the streets with joy. The happiness of our Palestinian brothers has also made us happy. Especially the prostration in gratitude of our brothers from Gaza took us to a very different emotional world. From the very first day, we have been one of the countries that contributed the most to this process," he expressed.
"THE PRICE WILL BE HEAVY" OUTBURST
Emphasizing that all resources and institutions are mobilized to ensure that not a single innocent person dies, Erdoğan stated, "In the end, an agreement was signed. The door to lasting peace in Gaza has been opened. We say that no blood should be shed, and children should not die of hunger. We will also put our hands under the stone during the implementation process. We will quickly deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. We know Israel's track record of not keeping its promises. They have betrayed the signatures they have put down. After two years of bombardment, there is rubble in Gaza. Whatever is our responsibility in the reconstruction of Gaza, we will hopefully fulfill it. The cost of returning to an environment of genocide will be very heavy. Gaza has had enough of blood and massacre. Sabotages must be avoided," he said.

We intervened in the flood disaster with 1,754 personnel and 5 helicopters. We have completed the damage assessment works. May God protect our country from all kinds of disasters.

We did not come here empty-handed. We are holding the collective opening of 38 of our projects and the groundbreaking ceremony of 2 of our projects. We are proud to present these works, with a total investment value exceeding 3 billion 84 million lira, to the service of our fellow citizens from Rize.
We have brought our health sciences faculty with classrooms and laboratories to our university. We have opened the doors of 6 educational institutions to our children. We have put 2 student dormitories into service. We have moved the district police departments of Çayeli and İkizdere to new service buildings.
Our projects are already a blessing for our city. Health, as you know, is our most important issue. We have made a total investment of 7 billion 211 million lira in the health sector.
With the city hospital that will be put into service by the end of 2026, our Rize will be one of the leading cities in health. As long as God gives us strength, we will work tirelessly for Rize and all 81 provinces.
"WE STAND BY THE OPPRESSED AND VICTIMS"
While continuing our work within our country, we are also making moves abroad. We represent our country at summits attended by world leaders. Wherever we go, we have become the voice of the oppressed without fear of anyone. Do you know why? Because we are the children of this land. We are always on the side of the oppressed and victims.
I pray for God's mercy on all our brothers who fell as martyrs in the resistance of Gaza.
We witnessed once again the lack of vision of the main opposition. For a long time, they called Hamas a terrorist organization. When they did not find what they hoped for from the places they saluted, they changed their tune. They continued their character assassinations. After the visit to the USA, you heard the delusions of the CHP Chairman. He criticized the visit. He claimed that we did not stand by Gaza. The agreement yesterday showed what the truth is."
