Former Fenerbahçe executive Hakan Safi made a statement regarding Kerem Aktürkoğlu, for whom he provided financial support during the transfer to the Yellow-Navy Blues.
DENIED THE FIGURES
Hakan Safi stated on his social media account that the statements regarding the financial aspects of Kerem Aktürkoğlu's transfer had been distorted.
Here is Hakan Safi's statement;
"After a meeting I had regarding Kerem Aktürkoğlu's transfer process on Monday, September 29, I have observed from the public that this conversation, in which I did not touch upon numerical issues at all, has unfortunately been misinterpreted and misrepresented in some media outlets. The numerical data in question has not been stated by me and does not reflect the truth. I would like to express my deep sadness regarding these unfounded accusations directed at me. I want to clearly state to the public that there is no investigation against me or our club from a legal standpoint.
As a businessman from our homeland and a member of the Fenerbahçe community, I wish for my name to be associated not with money and financial matters, but with the successes of our Fenerbahçe and our common goals. I would like to express that I find it appropriate to share all my future statements with the public only through my official social media account."
WHAT HAPPENED?
It was claimed that in a conversation between former Fenerbahçe executive Hakan Safi and journalist İbrahim Seten, he stated that the transfer of Kerem Aktürkoğlu was at the level of 35 million euros, contrary to what is known, and that the cost was his responsibility.
