HÜDA PAR Chairman Yapıcıoğlu: Trump's 21-point plan is filled with cunning traps.

Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the General President of HÜDA PAR and Istanbul Member of Parliament, who participated in the new legislative year broadcast organized by Haberler.com in the Parliament garden, strongly criticized the 21-point plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding Gaza. He stated that the plan does not have the characteristics of a neutral agreement and contains "sly traps" in many of its articles.

As the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) begins its new legislative term after approximately 2.5 months, HÜDA PAR Chairman and Istanbul Deputy Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu expressed his criticisms regarding the 21-point plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump concerning Gaza during a live broadcast held in the Meclis garden by Haberler.com. Yapıcıoğlu argued that the plan does not constitute a neutral agreement and contains "sly traps" in many of its articles.

"IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CALL THIS AN AGREEMENT"

Yapıcıoğlu evaluated the text announced to the public during the joint press conference of Trump and Netanyahu:

"Recently, there was a press conference held by Trump with Netanyahu, where they declared a 21-point text. It is not possible to call this an agreement. An agreement is something that occurs between two parties. So, what is the agreed party here? There are two parties in this text: one is the USA, and the other is Israel. If Netanyahu had taken a pen to write a text himself, he could have only written this much."

Yapıcıoğlu stated that the text needs to be examined article by article, emphasizing that "there is a separate trap in each one."

THERE ARE "SLY TRAPS" IN THE ARTICLES

Yapıcıoğlu criticized the first article by giving an example:

"For instance, the first article states that Gaza will be a region free from terrorism that does not pose a threat to its neighbors, where radicalization has been eliminated. Who is a terrorist? They label people who defend their homeland and their land as terrorists."

Similarly, he continued his evaluation regarding who poses a threat to the region:

"The biggest obstacle to war in the region is the Israeli terrorist state, and the greatest threat to world peace is indeed themselves."

CRITICISM OF "IF THEY DO NOT ACCEPT, THEY WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES"

Yapıcıoğlu drew attention to another article in the text, criticizing the one-sided nature of the statement, "If Israel and Hamas accept this, the war will end immediately":

"So what will happen if they do not accept? If Israel does not accept, so be it. ... But what will happen if Hamas does not accept? Then they say, we will not only destroy Hamas but also Hamas's chickens. Forget about the children and the people there; they say we will destroy the entire population of Gaza, a crowd of two million. They say we will eliminate everything alive there, from olive trees to chickens. You either accept it, or you will face the consequences. Can there be such an agreement?"

Yapıcıoğlu also made a harsh criticism regarding the implementation process of the agreement, stating, "After Israel publicly accepts the agreement, Hamas will do this, this, and this within 48 hours. What Hamas says is not very important if Israel accepts it alone."
