In the Gezi Park trial, manager Ayşe Barım received support from many famous names as she appeared before the judge for the second time. Manager Ayşe Barım, who has been detained on the grounds of organizing the Gezi Park protests, appeared before the judge for the second time. Many famous names attended the hearing held at the Justice Palace in Çağlayan, Istanbul, while some actors testified as witnesses.
CELEBRITIES CAME TO THE COURT
Most of the witnesses who took the stand stated that Ayşe Barım is apolitical, did not pressure anyone regarding political issues, and did not guide them to participate in the Gezi Park protests. Witnesses included Nejat İşler, Bergüzar Korel, Ceyda Düvenci, Doluınay Soysert, Halit Ergenç, Rıza Kocaoğlu, Mehmet Günsur, Selma Ergenç, and Zafer Algöz.
NEJAT İŞLER: "IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR AYŞE BARIM TO GUIDE ME"
Nejat İşler, who took the witness stand, stated that Barım did not guide him in any way. İşler said, "I participated in Gezi 2-3 times. I have been working with Ayşe Barım for over 20 years, but it is out of the question for her to guide me. I am a member of revolutionary labor unions, and there was a tent of my union; I went there."
