Former HDP Member of Parliament Mehmet Ali Aslan joined the New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) at its 3rd Ordinary Grand Congress and was elected as a member of the Central Executive Board. Aslan stated that he has adopted the policies of the YRP and expressed his intention to take an active role in organizational activities.

Mehmet Ali Aslan, the MP for Mardin and Batman from the 25th and 26th terms of HDP, has joined the New Welfare Party. He announced that he will take on an active role in the party.

The 3rd Ordinary Grand Congress of the New Welfare Party (YRP) was held at the Ankara Arena Sports Hall with the participation of delegates from 81 provinces. Former HDP MP Mehmet Ali Aslan also joined YRP at the congress.
