Galatasaray is reaching a happy ending in the capital increase that it has been waiting for approval for a long time. Thus, over 3 billion Turkish Liras will enter the club's coffers.

Galatasaray has reached the final stage of the capital increase. It has been learned that the yellow-reds, who applied for a 150% capital increase with the decision of the board of directors at the end of May, are expecting approval shortly.

AT LEAST 3 BILLION TL WILL ENTER THE TREASURY

The capital, which is 5.4 billion TL, will be increased by 150% to 13.5 billion TL. After the approval of the capital increase, at least 3 billion TL will enter the treasury of the yellow-red club. Previously, Galatasaray had raised its capital, which was around 1 billion at the end of 2024, to 5 billion 400 million with a 400% increase.

A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE DEBT HAS BEEN PAID

1.7 billion TL has entered the treasury of the yellow-red club; with this income, a significant portion of the debt to the Banks Association consortium has been paid with 1.3 billion TL.

''THERE WILL BE 80-85 MILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE''

Abdullah Kavukçu, Deputy Chairman of Galatasaray Sportif AŞ, stated last week, "If the Capital Markets Board approves, there will be 80-85 million dollars in revenue after the capital increase. We expect this to conclude by the end of next month. This money will be used for debts or other payments," he said.
