U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham reacted strongly to Spain's withdrawal of its ambassador to Israel. Graham stated, "I cannot accept Spain's permanent recall of its ambassador to Israel. Spain is a NATO member; the U.S. and Israel are conducting joint operations against the Iranian regime, which seeks the destruction of Israel."
U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham harshly criticized Spain's decision to permanently withdraw its ambassador to Israel.
"I CANNOT ACCEPT SPAIN'S DECISION"
Reminding that Spain is a NATO member, Graham stated that this decision harms the security balance in the region, saying, "I cannot accept a stance from an ally towards Israel, which is conducting operations against our common enemy, the Iranian regime."
Graham emphasized that Israel's defense is strategically important not only for the region but also for the U.S. and other NATO members. Graham said, "I hope Spain's decision does not encourage the repressive and fanatical regime in Iran."
