The introduction of TÜGVA's YOUTH 2026 took place at Volkswagen Arena. In the exhibition match directed by Halil Umut Meler, many famous names took to the field. The highlight of the match was the dribble made by TFF President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu against Serdar Aziz.
The promotion of the Inter-High School Football Tournament GENÇLİG 2026, organized by the Turkey Youth Foundation (TÜGVA), was held. The ceremony at Volkswagen Arena was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, the President of the Turkish Football Federation İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, TFF Vice President Mecnun Otyakmaz, A National Team Head Coach Vincenzo Montella, TÜGVA High Advisory Board Member Bilal Erdoğan, TÜGVA President İbrahim Beşinci, Beşiktaş Club President Serdal Adalı, Beşiktaş Club Vice President Hakan Daltaban, Fenerbahçe Club Football Branch Responsible Ertan Torunoğulları, and many other guests.
HALIL UMUT MELER REFEREED, STAR NAMES TOOK THE FIELD
As part of the promotion, a friendly match was held, refereed by FIFA-licensed referee Halil Umut Meler. In the match, which featured former famous football players, Hikmet Karaman took on the role of head coach for the red team.
In the red team, Osman Aşkın Bak, İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu, Bilal Erdoğan, Emre Belözoğlu, Mario Jardel, Necati Ateş, Mehmet Topal, Emir Dağlı, Hasan Kabze, Hakan Bahadır, Tuncay Şanlı, and Selçuk Şahin wore the jersey.
