Hamza Kılıç (11), who was shot in the head while playing with a rifle with his older brother and cousin in Aksaray, has passed away due to the accidental discharge of the weapon. An investigation has been initiated to determine who touched the trigger.
HIS FAMILY FOUND HIM SHOT IN THE HEAD
The incident occurred around 1:00 PM in the Fatih neighborhood of Sağlık village. Hamza Kılıç, who lives in Ankara, came to his grandmother's house with his family a few days ago for the mid-term holiday. When his mother and grandmother returned from visiting neighbors, they found Hamza injured in the head and reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
THE SHOTGUN DISCHARGED
Health and gendarmerie teams dispatched to the scene determined that Hamza had died. It was established that Hamza was shot in the head with a rifle, and the incident occurred while he was playing with a shotgun with his 15-year-old brother and cousin B.S. (18), resulting from the accidental discharge of the weapon. To determine who touched the trigger, Hamza's brother and cousin were taken to the gendarmerie command for their statements.
Hamza's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Aksaray Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy. The gendarmerie continues the investigation related to the incident.
