The high grades reflected in the report cards from the common exams held in high schools in Istanbul raised significant doubts.

INVESTIGATION BY THE PROVINCIAL DIRECTORATE OF NATIONAL EDUCATION

The high grades have brought up allegations that the exam questions and answers were leaked, leading the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education to initiate an investigation following reports in some media outlets.

"FIELD SURVEY IS BEING CONDUCTED"

In a statement from the Provincial Directorate of National Education, it was stated, "A field survey is being conducted. After definitive findings regarding the leakage of questions, inspectors will be assigned. The penal situation will vary according to the actual perpetrator."

"HIGH POSSIBILITY OF LEAKAGE FROM THE SCHOOL AND TEACHERS"

Education expert Hatice Yılmaz stated that it is possible for the questions to be leaked from within the school, saying, "It is highly likely that this came from this school and the teachers. Otherwise, the ministry's site cannot be hacked, and since no exam documents were sent to any school, there is no possibility of this being leaked externally. For this to happen, it must definitely come from within a school. Because the Ministry of National Education sends the exam papers to the schools 2.5 hours before the exams. Schools print these exams and administer them to their students." she evaluated.

"SUCCESS AVERAGE INCREASED ABNORMALLY"

The second common written exams for the first semester were held between January 6-9 for 6th, 7th, and 10th-grade students. Some teachers noticed that the success average had increased abnormally when reading the exam papers of the 10th graders. Some students received grades higher than expected, which raised suspicions.
