HÜDA PAR General Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu stated that the leader of the terrorist organization, Abdullah Öcalan, could be listened to via SEGBİS without going to İmralı. He said, "In our opinion, this visit is not very necessary. Abdullah Öcalan can be listened to via SEGBİS without going to İmralı. This way, everyone can hear what he has to say directly from his own mouth."

HÜDA PAR General Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu answered questions from Ruşen Çakır on Medyascope TV. Evaluating the agenda, Yapıcıoğlu stated that PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan could be listened to via the Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS) without going to İmralı.

"NO NEED TO GO TO İMRALI"

Yapıcıoğlu, regarding the request of the commission established in the Parliament for a face-to-face meeting with Öcalan, said, "In our opinion, this is not a very necessary visit. However, we are not at the point of saying 'if this meeting happens, we will leave the commission' like other parties. This is a problem, but it can be overcome. Abdullah Öcalan can be listened to via SEGBİS without going to İmralı. Thus, everyone can hear what he said from his own mouth," he stated.

"THE PROCESS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IN TWO DIMENSIONS"

Yapıcıoğlu, in his evaluation of the process, stated, "The issue should be addressed in two dimensions: 'a Turkey without terrorism' and 'the strengthening of the internal front.'" He added, "The Dem Party names this as a peace and democratization process. However, we see it as the liquidation of the PKK and the re-establishment of brotherhood law," emphasizing that the Kurdish issue should not be associated with the organization.

"MILLIONS OF KURDS HAVE LEGITIMATE DEMANDS"

The leader of HÜDA PAR pointed out that millions of Kurdish citizens who have not taken up arms have legitimate demands, stating, "These demands should be met on legitimate grounds. However, negotiations should not be made with those who have adopted violence as a method for 40 years regarding these demands."

"THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE MOVED FORWARD WITH A SINGLE CANDIDATE"

Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that despite the different views within the People's Alliance, unity has been maintained, stating that although there are different thoughts in the People's Alliance, they united around a single presidential candidate. "These differences are our richness, not a problem," he said.

"THE KURDISH ISSUE AND THE DISSOLUTION OF THE ORGANIZATION SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED"

Yapıcıoğlu stated that the most important condition for the success of the resolution process is the clear separation of issues, saying, "The dissolution of the organization and the Kurdish issue should not be confused. If one is seen as an obstacle to the other, the process will be blocked."
