A person who had a dispute with his partner over a financial matter in Antalya set fire to the bakery where he had locked himself in with a knife. The individual, who became unconscious from the smoke filling the workplace, was rescued by teams who broke the shop's windows to enter.
Agit B., who had problems with his partner in the pide bakery due to a debt issue in the Zerdalilik neighborhood of the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, locked himself inside the workplace.
SET FIRE TO THE WORKPLACE HE LOCKED HIMSELF IN WITH A SICKLE IN HAND
Agit B., who was inside with a sickle in hand, began to damage the drinks and products in the workplace. Health, police, and fire teams were dispatched to the address upon notification. Agit B., who did not respond to the police's negotiation efforts, tried to set fire to the bakery in the workplace while shouting around with the sickle in his hand.
FAINTED DUE TO SMOKE
Due to the closed windows, the workplace quickly filled with dense smoke. Agit B., who did not allow anyone to enter, fainted after a while from the smoke inside. When the police and fire teams saw that Agit B. had fainted, they broke the window to enter.
WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Agit B., who was lying motionless on the ground, was removed by the teams. Agit B. was transferred to Antalya Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. The fire teams evacuated the smoke from the workplace. The investigation by the teams regarding the incident is ongoing.
