According to reports, Ayfer Özmen, who left her home in Kağıthane Sanayi Mahallesi with friends to collect mushrooms in Rumelifeneri, had not been heard from since 5:30 PM.
TEAMS SPRING INTO ACTION
Upon the notification from her relatives, gendarmerie and search and rescue teams were dispatched to the area. The teams launched a large-scale search operation to find the missing woman.
MISSING WOMAN FOUND INJURED
After search efforts that lasted until the night hours, the missing Özmen was found with minor injuries. She was located at the edge of a cliff in the forested area towards Rumelifeneri, and efforts to rescue the injured woman began.
