In Edirne, I.U. shot and killed two of his friends with a shotgun in the village square. While the lifeless bodies of the friends were taken to the forensic medicine institute's morgue for autopsy, the suspect was taken into custody.

At around 18:30 in Hasköy, a village in the Enes district of Edirne, a brutal incident occurred. According to allegations, I.U. met with Necati Sunar and Erman Korkmaz in a shop next to the café located in the village square and started chatting. After a while, a dispute broke out between I.U. and Korkmaz.

While the argument continued in front of the shop, I.U. took the shotgun from the back of his motorcycle. Necati Sunar tried to calm I.U. and attempted to take the gun from him. While trying to take the weapon, Necati Sunar was shot when the shotgun fired. I.U. then shot Erman Korkmaz. As Sunar and Korkmaz collapsed in a pool of blood, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby. The teams confirmed that Necati Sunar and Erman Korkmaz had lost their lives.

MURDER SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

I.U. was taken into custody by the gendarmerie teams. The bodies of Sunar and Korkmaz were sent to the Edirne Forensic Medicine Institution for autopsy after the examination by the on-duty prosecutor and the gendarmerie. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
