The incident occurred yesterday around 00:15 in the Gülbahar neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Mehmet Fatih T. came to the address where his religious marriage wife Sibel E. was staying to talk. After a dispute broke out between the two, Mehmet Fatih T. fired one shot with his gun. The bullet hit the marble of the window next to Sibel E. The shattered marble fragments struck Sibel E.'s groin and genital area, causing her injury.
NO LIFE THREAT
Upon the report, police and health teams were dispatched to the scene. Sibel E., who received initial first aid from health teams at the scene, was taken to Okmeydanı Cemil Taşçıoğlu Hospital with her consciousness open. During the examination at the scene, one empty cartridge case was found. Mehmet Fatih T., who fled after the incident, was caught by police teams with the weapon he used in the incident.
SUSPECT ARRESTED
Mehmet Fatih T., who was taken into custody, was brought to the Şişli Public Order Bureau Office. After his procedures at the police station were completed, Mehmet Fatih T. was referred to the courthouse. The suspect, brought before the court, was arrested for the crime of 'Intentional injury' and sent to prison.
