Doğan Daniş, who provides personnel transportation at a factory in Istanbul, purchased a brand new minibus with a loan on January 10, 2024. However, due to a motor malfunction, the vehicle could not be repaired despite being taken to the service 24 times during this period. Daniş stated, "It started having issues every day a year after I bought it. I took it to the service exactly 24 times. The engine light is on, and it is losing power. I am requesting a replacement for my vehicle. It had a warranty, and it expires this month."

In Istanbul, Doğan Daniş stated that despite taking his newly purchased minibus to the service 24 times due to a motor malfunction, the issue has not been resolved. Since the vehicle is not operational, Daniş's contracts at his workplace have been canceled, and he expressed his grievances, demanding a replacement for his vehicle.

NEW MINIBUS PURCHASED WITH A LOAN BROKE DOWN 24 TIMES

Doğan Daniş, who provides personnel transportation at a factory in Istanbul, said that the new service minibus he purchased with a loan on January 10, 2024, has been constantly malfunctioning, and despite taking the vehicle to the authorized service 24 times, the problem has not been fixed. Expressing that the issue with the vehicle has not been repaired during this time, Daniş said, "When I bought the vehicle, it hadn't even covered 1 kilometer. A year after purchasing it, it started breaking down every day. I took it to the service exactly 24 times. The engine light is on, and it loses power. Every time I took it, they kept telling me that this light was on due to various malfunctions, but they could never fix it."

"I HAVE BECOME A SUBJECT TO FORECLOSURE"

Stating that his contract with his workplace has also been canceled because he cannot operate his vehicle, Daniş said, "I have been victimized due to this incident. My credit card debts have doubled. I am almost in a foreclosure situation. The service has not been able to find a solution. I requested a replacement for my vehicle. They could not assist me at all. I signed a contract trusting the vehicle when I took on work. All my contracts have been canceled. Therefore, I made a claim, but no one could help. I have made phone calls with the authorized representatives of the company in Bursa maybe 40 times, but there is no solution. The vehicle works one day and does not work for two days. Since the New Year, my vehicle has not worked for a total of even two months. I have also filed a complaint about the service. Every time I take it to the service, they say 'We are handling it,' but the malfunction keeps recurring. I am requesting a replacement for my vehicle. It had a warranty, and it expires this month," he stated.

Bakır expressed that in the notice sent through the 17th Notary of Istanbul on May 26, it was stated that despite the maintenance of the vehicle being carried out at the authorized service since the day of purchase, it has continuously malfunctioned for various reasons, has been kept in the service for 60 days, and that his client has lost a monthly income of 176,000 TL from personnel transportation.
