In a statement made from the Turkish Armed Forces' social media account, it was stated, "Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, accompanied by Deputy Chief of General Staff General Levent Ergün, conducted meetings with Syrian Arab Republic Defense Minister Lieutenant General Murhaf Ebu Kasra and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Ali Nurettin Nasan during his official visit to the capital Damascus. Subsequently, he inspected the Turkey-Syria joint operations center.
