"WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE TRAPPED UNDER YOUR OWN CAR"

Speaking about the incident, shopkeeper Sedat Polat (36) said, "A man fell from the car. The car went back. Then the car went forward. It took the man back under the car; in other words, the man was trapped under his own car. It's a bit absurd, the door was probably open. His foot might have gotten caught on the pedal; he could have fallen from there. Because he hit the car, and since the car was fast, it might have shifted gears because it was automatic. If we put this in a Turkish movie, it would really be cinema. The man's legs were crushed. He is currently in a cast, his hip is broken; he is lying at home now. There is damage to both cars; one car is totaled. He will have to fix his own car. Two cars are totaled. If you put it in a Turkish movie, it would be something that has never happened before. It is a live example for the first time in Turkey. What does it mean for a person to be trapped under their own car?"
