A 70-year-old Chinese tourist swimming in Kuşadası experienced a drowning danger. The tourist, rescued by the rapid intervention of lifeguards who noticed him struggling in the water, was taken to the hospital, where his treatment continues.
A 70-year-old Chinese tourist, Gong Wu, nearly drowned while swimming in Kuşadası, Aydın. According to information obtained, Gong Wu, who arrived at Kuşadası Port in the morning hours on the cruise ship Celebrity Equinox with his family, entered the sea at Kadınlar Denizi Beach around noon.
LIFEGUARDS CAME TO HIS RESCUE
After a while, lifeguards on duty at the beach noticed the elderly tourist struggling in the water and quickly intervened. Gong Wu was pulled from the water by the lifeguards, and first aid was administered at the scene.
TREATMENT CONTINUES
The Chinese tourist, reported to be unconscious, was handed over to medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification. Gong Wu was taken by ambulance to Kuşadası State Hospital, where his treatment is ongoing.
