Heavy rainfall paralyzed life in Muğla.

In the Datça district of Muğla, heavy rainfall caused the Kargı Stream to overflow, flooding the Marmaris highway between the Old Datça neighborhood and Reşadiye Dörtyol, which has closed the road to traffic. Some homes and businesses also experienced flooding.

The Meteorology 4th Regional Directorate issued a strong downpour warning for Muğla and its surroundings yesterday, and a heavy downpour occurred intermittently in Datça.

PARALYZED LIFE

Due to the heavy rain, Kargı Stream overflowed. The road between Eski Datça Neighborhood and Reşadiye Dörtyol was flooded due to the downpour, and the road was closed to traffic. Some basements of houses were flooded, and parked vehicles were submerged.

Drivers in traffic experienced difficult moments due to the downpour. Municipal teams started working to drain the water.
