According to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, a "Ka-226" type helicopter crashed onto a house in the Achiisu settlement located in the Dagestan region. A fire broke out as a result of the helicopter crash. Emergency service teams were dispatched to the scene. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident, and it was stated that a technical malfunction caused the accident.
It was noted that the helicopter was carrying employees of the Kizlyar Electromechanical Plant. Sergey Melikov, the President of the Republic of Dagestan, stated in a message on his Telegram channel that work is ongoing at the scene, and according to initial assessments, 4 people lost their lives. 3 injured individuals were taken to the hospital.
