70 ATTACKS WERE CARRIED OUT JUST YESTERDAY
The statement recorded that attacks were also carried out against Israeli military positions in northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights using drones and rockets, and it was expressed that 70 attacks were carried out against Israeli targets yesterday. The statement mentioned that since the attacks on Lebanon resumed on March 2, 1,100 attacks have been conducted against Israel.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement from the Israeli army on March 2, it was noted that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon. Later, the Israeli army announced that it had initiated airstrikes across Lebanon and decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, targeting the capital Beirut with intense attacks from the air and sea.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported in its latest statement that 1,238 people have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israel since March 2. Minister of Social Affairs Hanin al-Sayyid also stated that the number of those forcibly displaced in Lebanon due to Israel's occupation and attacks has exceeded 1 million 162 thousand.
