The National Intelligence Organization captured the fugitive spy Önder Sığırcıkoğlu, who had been on the run for 12 years, at the Syria-Lebanon border.

The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the Syrian Intelligence Service's efforts resulted in the capture of Önder Sığırcıkoğlu, who was found to be conducting espionage activities against Turkey, at the Syria-Lebanon border.

Sığırcıkoğlu, who had been on the run for 12 years, was handed over to the judicial authorities in coordination with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Ankara Anti-Terrorism Branch.
