17-year-old Rabia Akyüz, a 12th-grade student who was hospitalized after a heart attack at school in Bursa, could not be saved despite intervention.

Rabia Akyüz, a 12/A class student at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian High School in Yıldırım district, suddenly collapsed during class yesterday. A health team was dispatched to the address upon notification.

DIED IN HOSPITAL

Akyüz, who was determined to have suffered a heart attack, was taken to Bursa High Specialization Training and Research Hospital after the initial intervention by the teams and was treated. Rabia Akyüz, who was reported to have a heart condition, could not be saved despite all the efforts of the doctors in the hospital.

Rabia, whose death has plunged her family and school friends into mourning, will be laid to rest today in Bursa.
