HÜDA PAR leader Yapıcıoğlu: Let there not be Article 4 of the Constitution.

15.09.2024 00:30

HÜDA PAR President Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu made a statement that will be widely discussed during his live broadcast. Yapıcıoğlu said, "I explained it one by one as if to a fool, yet they insist on not understanding. We say that the 4th article should not be in the constitution. The 4th article is putting a mortgage on the will of future generations."

While the debates about the constitutional amendment continue, HÜDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu made a controversial statement during a live broadcast. Yapıcıoğlu stated that they want the removal of the 4th article of the Constitution and clarified that they are not against the others.

YAPICIOĞLU: I SAID IT LIKE EXPLAINING TO A FOOL, LET THERE BE NO ARTICLE 4 IN THE CONSTITUTION

Yapıcıoğlu said the following: "I said it one by one as if explaining to a fool, yet they insist on not understanding. We say that there should be no 4th article in the constitution. Let me say it again looking at the camera. We say that there should be no 4th article in the constitution."

"DRAFT THE OTHER ARTICLES TOGETHER"

Having unchangeable articles in the constitution does not mean that we should change all the articles that you claim are unchangeable. We are against the 4th article of the constitution. Do you understand? The 4th article puts a mortgage on the will of future generations. Let's sit down together and draft the other articles. Not the first 4 articles, but the 4th article.

ARTICLE 4 OF THE CONSTITUTION

ARTICLE 4- The provision stating that the form of the State is the Republic in the 1st article of the Constitution, the qualifications of the Republic in the 2nd article, and the provisions of the 3rd article cannot be changed and cannot be proposed to be changed.
