This week's guest on the "Haber Bahane" program hosted by Gökay Kalaycıoğlu on Haberler.com was Hüseyin Tatlı, the brother of İbrahim Tatlıses. Sharing his experiences regarding family ties, childhood years, music career, and the breaking points he experienced with the famous artist, Hüseyin Tatlı drew attention with his words, "I saw İbrahim Tatlıses as a father, but he did not see us as his children."
"I SAW İBRAHİM TATLISES AS A FATHER"
Hüseyin Tatlı stated that he lost his father at a young age and said that he saw İbrahim Tatlıses as a father figure in his life. He explained that their relationship with the famous artist reached a breaking point over time, expressing an emotional fracture with the following words: "I saw İbrahim Tatlıses as a father. The reason for the breakdown of my relationship with him was that while we saw him as a father, he did not see us as his children."
"30 YEARS AGO HE SAID 'I WILL BUILD AN APARTMENT FOR THE FAMILY', IT NEVER HAPPENED"
Tatlı expressed that İbrahim Tatlıses promised to build an apartment that would bring the whole family together about 30 years ago, but it never came to fruition. He explained this topic as follows: "My son, what do you need from me? I will build you an apartment, 10 stories high. I will seat my entire family here. He said this 30 years ago. It never happened."
Hüseyin Tatlı evaluated the non-fulfillment of this promise by saying, "maybe there is a reason for it," while also expressing that he thought İbrahim Tatlıses had good intentions at that time but felt that he was being delayed.
IT REALLY BOTHERED ME
Tatlı also shared an incident that occurred after İbrahim Tatlıses' traffic accident: "After the accident, I went to the hospital to see him. A crowded table was set at home, he called out everyone's names, saying 'my child,' but he did not say it to me. It really bothered me, I got up and left. Since that day, I cut off our relationship."
"I WANTED TO BE A BROTHER, NOT A FEDAİ"
Touching on his career journey, Hüseyin Tatlı stated that he was seen as a "fedaî" around his brother for years and explained that he fought to gain his own identity: "After returning from the military, I did not want to be a 'fedaî.' I wanted to be a brother. I sold my television, got a visa, went to Germany, and started to carve my own path on stage."
"I EMPTIED MY HOUSE, THEY SAID DILAN WILL MOVE IN"
Hüseyin Tatlı claimed that İbrahim Tatlıses wanted him to move out of a house: "Ms. Şule called and said, 'Mr. İbrahim wants you to move out of your house.' I asked for 15 days, then I moved out. A week later, Dilan called and asked, 'Uncle, when will you move out?' Then neither Dilan moved into that house nor anyone else. That house remained empty for a year.
