The controlled demolition in the İskenderun district of Hatay went out of control. The six-story building that was being demolished collapsed. During the collapse, a mother and her young daughter, who were walking on the road, narrowly escaped being trapped under the rubble by running away at the last moment. The terrifying moments were captured second by second on security cameras.
While the demolition of buildings undergoing legal processes continues in Hatay, which suffered great damage in the disaster of the century, a 6-story damaged building that was being demolished on Şehit Pamir Street in İskenderun collapsed. In the search and listening activities conducted by the teams in the building debris, no signs of life were found. During the collapse, damage also occurred in a building next to the apartment.

In the images reflected in a nearby business, it was seen that the building was completely destroyed and the mother and daughter were seen escaping from the debris of the collapsed building. The moments when the mother and daughter fled were captured in the footage.
The damage to the building that was affected during the demolition was recorded as daylight broke.
