WHO IS ALİ ENDER ÇOLAK?
Ender Çolak, who has worked for many years in the capital markets and energy sector and is originally from Bayburt, was serving as the General Manager of Istanbul Gas Distribution Industry and Trade Inc. (İGDAŞ).
Çolak started his professional career at the Capital Markets Board (SPK). Between 1989 and 2008, he held positions such as specialist, department head, and Vice Chairman of the Board at SPK. He also served on the OECD Corporate Governance Committee and advisory boards.
In 2008, Çolak transitioned to the private sector, serving as Vice President responsible for Finance and Renewable Energy at Anel Group. He then served as the CEO of Baymak – BDR Thermea Group from 2011 to 2023.
Çolak, a graduate of the Faculty of Political Sciences at Ankara University, completed his master's degree at Thunderbird School of Global Management in the United States. He also received training from institutions such as Toronto Centre, the World Bank, IFC, and Wharton School.
Additionally, Ender Çolak is a member of the Turkish National Paralympic Committee.
