A petition with 25,000 signatures has been collected in the UK to ban Israel from international football organizations due to its actions in Gaza. This movement was initiated by the UK Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and the petition has been submitted to the Football Association of England.
25,000 signatures were collected in England to prevent Israel, which is committing genocide in Gaza, from being banned from international football and to stop the Aston Villa-Maccabi Tel Aviv match from taking place in the UEFA Europa League.
25,000 PEOPLE SIGNED FOR ISRAEL'S BAN
The petition prepared by the UK Palestine Solidarity Campaign and signed by 25,000 people was delivered to the Football Association of England at Wembley Stadium by the platform's representative, Lewis Backon. In a statement made in front of Wembley Stadium, Backon said, "Teams from a state responsible for genocide and apartheid practices should not play in international football competitions."
