In a collision between two cars in Uşak, an elderly couple lost their lives, while the driver of the other vehicle was injured. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
In Uşak, an elderly couple lost their lives in a collision between two cars, while the driver of the other vehicle was injured. The accident occurred at the Kızılcasöğüt junction on the Denizli-Uşak highway. According to the information obtained, a car with license plate 20 AJF 138, driven by M.V. (25), collided with a car with license plate 64 AH 815, driven by İbrahim Özçakır (80), while heading towards Uşak city center from Denizli. After nearby citizens reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center, 112 health, police, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area.
ELDERLY COUPLE DIES IN HORRIFIC ACCIDENT
In the assessment made by the health teams at the scene, it was determined that İbrahim Özçakır, the driver of the car with license plate 64 AH 815, had lost his life, while his wife Nazife Özçakır (80) in the same vehicle and the driver of the other car were taken to hospitals in the city with injuries. Nazife Özçakır, who was taken to Uşak Training and Research Hospital, could not be saved despite all the interventions and passed away. After the investigations conducted at the scene, İbrahim Özçakır's body was taken to the morgue of Sivaslı State Hospital. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
