Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation ex officio against Cem Köksal, the CEO of Zorlu Holding, who expressed his discomfort with Vestel CEO Ergün Güler's Ramadan greeting sent to company employees, stating, "While trying to be a multinational company, we expect to have employees from all religions and nationalities." The investigation is based on the charge of obstructing the exercise of freedom of belief, thought, and opinion.
