Iran's Defense Ministry spokesman Reza Talayi Nik made statements following the attacks by the US and Israel. Talayi Nik stated, "Trained reserve commanders have been designated for each commander. The enemy will be forced to halt the war in the coming days."

Iran's Defense Ministry Spokesman Reza Talayi Nik commented on the ongoing war process with the US and Israel, stating, "The enemy will inevitably have to stop the war in the coming days."

According to Iranian media, Talayi Nik spoke about the war between Iran and the US-Israel during a television program he attended.

"THE ENEMY WILL HAVE TO STOP THE WAR IN THE COMING DAYS"

Talayi Nik noted that the US and Israel believed that by killing Ali Khamenei, the political system and command hierarchy in the country would collapse, but he pointed out that this was a strategic miscalculation, stating, "Trained reserve commanders have been designated for every commander. The enemy will inevitably have to stop the war in the coming days."

Emphasizing that there have been no issues regarding the coordination of Iran's command hierarchy since the first moment of the war with the US and Israel, Talayi Nik said that the equation on the ground has changed in favor of the Iranian people.

"A QUICK AND INTENSE RESPONSE WAS GIVEN"

Talayi Nik reported that Iran's Armed Forces took action more quickly than during the 12-day conflict with Israel in June 2025, and that responses to attacks were quick and intense.

Stating that Iran has always approached neighboring and Muslim countries "positively," Talayi Nik suggested that it is legitimate to target the source of any threat if the bases of any country are used against Iran.

US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN

While negotiations continued between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.

Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.

In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.

The Iranian Red Crescent announced that 787 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
