Yasin Öztürk, the İYİ Party's Denizli Deputy, who was a guest on Haberler.com live broadcast, also evaluated the claims that his party would join a new alliance and merge with other parties. Öztürk stated, "These can be evaluated as we enter the election campaign," and added, "There are demands and desires in society for a similar third way."

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) 28th Term 4th Legislative Year has begun. Among the guests of Haberler.com, which sheds light on the agenda of Ankara with live broadcasts from the parliament garden, is İYİ Party Denizli Deputy and TBMM Presidency Clerk Member Yasin Öztürk.

IS A NEW ALLIANCE OR MERGER WITH OTHER PARTIES POSSIBLE?

Öztürk, who answered questions from Haberler.com News Director Olgun Kızıltepe and presenter Melis Yaşar, also evaluated the claims that his party would join a new alliance and merge with other parties.

Is a new alliance coming? A green light from İYİ Party's Öztürk

"THERE ARE DEMANDS FOR A SIMILAR THIRD WAY IN SOCIETY"

Öztürk stated, "Once we enter the election campaign, these can be evaluated. However, when they brought the Presidential Government System to Turkey in 2017, they were probably thinking of a two-and-a-half party system. What I mean by two-and-a-half parties is this; a system was foreseen with two main blocks and one minority party. But since the beginning, with the stance of İYİ Party since its establishment, it has been clear that this system has not fully settled, and therefore, there is an environment where alliances are open. Therefore, when it comes to the election campaign, there are certainly demands and desires in society for a similar third way."

"THE BIGGEST CONCERN OF CITIZENS IS THE ECONOMY"

Öztürk expressed that the biggest concern of citizens is the economy, and continued his remarks as follows: "However, we were also in the field with citizens in our region when the Parliament was on recess. In that sense, looking at it, the biggest concern of citizens, their primary concern, is actually the economy. I mean, while they are worried about what to bring home in the evening and how to make ends meet by the end of the month, we can say that they do not show a very clear reaction to the commission process or alliances. The nation will certainly make the right decision at the ballot box. The will of the people is important."
