WHO IS CEMAL ENGİNYURT?Cemal Enginyurt was born on April 9, 1965, in the village of Dedeli in Ordu. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Ordu. He completed his undergraduate education in the Department of Economics at Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. While he was still a first-year high school student, he was imprisoned for 3 years due to the September 12, 1980 coup. After the September 12, 1980 coup, Cemal Enginyurt, who was among the nationalists that started organizational activities under the name of Bizim Ocak magazine after the ban on Ülkü Ocakları organizations, established the Ordu provincial representation of the Bizim Ocak magazine in 1986, initiating the first Ülkü Ocakları activities in Ordu after September 12. HE WAS THE PROVINCIAL CHAIRMAN OF ORDUHe started his party management career as the provincial secretary of the Nationalist Working Party (MÇP) in 1991, became a member of the Central Executive Committee of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) in 1993, and was elected as the provincial chairman of MHP in Ordu in 1994. In the same year, he was a candidate for the mayor of Ordu from MHP and became the first candidate for the MHP Ordu in the 1995 elections. THE FIRST ELECTED MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT FROM MHP IN ORDUIn 1997, he was re-elected as the provincial chairman of MHP in Ordu, and in the 1999 elections, he was elected as a member of parliament as the first candidate of MHP, becoming the first elected member of parliament from MHP in Ordu. He supported the Rahşan Affı and voted in favor during the voting held on December 21, 2000. In 2012, he was re-elected as the provincial chairman of MHP in Ordu and continued this position until 2014. In the 2014 local elections, he was a candidate for the Mayor of Ordu Metropolitan Municipality from MHP but was not elected. In the June 2015 general elections, he was a candidate for the first place in Ordu from MHP but was not elected. He re-entered the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the 2018 general elections.
